I cannot even tell you how glad we were to have selected Chris Ognek for our home search. How good was our experience? I'm returning to write a review for a house he helped us close on but couldn't help us buy himself - he's THAT good. Chris shows his "client needs first" ethics in every interaction. We were certainly no stranger to real estate agents as a natural disaster had displaced us and required us to complete our fourth real estate transaction in 1.5 years. However, we were brand new to the Fredericksburg, VA area and knew no one so we starting reading reviews. We saw Chris had glowing positive reviews and decided to use him. What we got from him far exceeded our expectations. Chris is a PHENOMENAL professional. First, if there is someone with more knowledge of his area, profession, and value - I don't know that I'd believe they exist. Chris understands the market, home values, and after a short conversation he can help you select (down to the community/neighborhood) what you are looking for in the area. He came prepared BY THE ZIP CODE with maps to our first meeting and showed us areas he thought we'd like homes. He was right too! His organization and planning was so incredible. We viewed 6 homes in one day and Chris had them timed to the minute and took in consideration drive times, not wasting time by driving back and forth, etc. it was a masterclass of being prepared and thorough. So in closing, why are we reviewing him when he didn't actually help us buy our new home (Richmond area)? Because after realizing we couldn't find exactly what we were looking for in his area, Chris helped us find what we were looking for IN A MARKET HE DOESN'T EVEN REPRESENT Why? Because when he says he wants to help you find what you need, he means it. There were homes we wanted in the areas he described, but none were available, so he helped us find a place somewhere else. I'm telling you, this one is a no brainer. My wife and I were beyond impressed with Chris. After talking to Chris for a few minutes, we immediately knew we wanted him as our agent to help us find a home. Chris went above and beyond in helping us. He was patient beyond our expectations and recommended painters and movers. All of them we amazing and helpful and we were very pleased. We can't rate Chris high enough!

We highly recommend Chris Ognek as a real estate agent. Two comments: 1. I never expected Yelp to be useful for finding professional services. Boy, was I wrong! We contacted Chris Ognek because of his large number of positive reviews on Yelp, and he exceeded our high expectations. 2. We got Chris's help to buy a home in Spotsylvania. One hopes a realtor is knowledgeable about an area, has a good support team (for finance, home inspections, etc), listens well to a client's needs and wants, and gives personal attention (rather than handing a client to a more junior member of the office). Chris hit ALL these marks. In addition, he is just a nice guy. One example. After completing the home sale, we relocated from another state. We had one of our cars transported, and the transporter missed the scheduled delivery date. We had no one to receive the car, and we had not yet met any of our neighbors. We called Chris, looking for advice. Chris had just gotten off a redeye flight that day, but he dropped what he was doing and PERSONALLY drove to our new home. He put the car securely into the garage. This was on a home where the sale had been completed a MONTH previously. That's "above and beyond" expectations, but typical of Chris.

Chris is a fantastic realtor! We were moving across the country, so we had limited ability to conduct home tours. Chris was meticulous in understanding and prioritizing our needs and wants, and did a amazing job of finding us the right home. His experience was very valuable as he did video tours on our behalf. We really appreciated his honesty, he was clear if he felt the house was not a good deal or not a right fit for us. 5/5 would recommend to friends coming into the area!

Chris helped me sell a rental condo I had in Stafford. He was super easy to work with and really responsive to any questions I had. He was able to sell my condo quickly and everything went smoothly, especially considering I no longer live in the area, so they took care of everything that needed to be done on site. His team is also fantastic, particularly Craig, who handled things once we were under contract. He helped coordinate people to fix some items that came up on the home inspection and made sure those fixes were all done before we closed.

Mr. Ognek's job is not just as a broker and sales agent... He can educate you on all the facts needed to purchase a home, loans, or to rent your own home out, if needed. Even flipping homes, if that is your interest. We have used Mr. Ognek's expertise since 2009, and we will continue to do so. I bought a house through Chris in 2018 and sold that house in 2022 through Chris. He is responsive, knowledgeable, patient, and effective! For buying I never felt rushed or pressured, and for selling I felt supported and well taken care of. I will recommend him to anyone I know looking!

As a licensed real estate agent from another State, I cannot stress enough how important agent selection is in the home buying process. My husband and I were recently transferred to Virginia due to my husband's job. I searched for respected Realtors and reached out to Chris Ognek. Chris was prompt to respond to me, but unfortunately, Chris was going to be out of town during our "scout" trip to the area. Fortunately, Rosmary Goudyrev (Chris' colleague) was willing and able to show us around. Rosmary endured my marathon list of homes and areas, and even drove out of area to show us some homes of interest. We had not intended to purchase a home the weekend of our visit, but we found a home we thought would work for us and decided to make an offer. The market in Fredericksburg is just as competitive as my home market, but I am not familiar with the purchase process in VA so we trusted Rosmary and Chris to guide us through our offer. Chris had returned from out of town at this point, and he met us at the home to assist with the offer and a game plan to "win" the home. The house ended up having multiple offers ( which I am famous for walking away from), but Rosmary and Chris encouraged us to put in an offer and see what happens. Chris knows the market here, and he helped us formulate an offer that had strong terms, but was not the highest offer presented to the sellers! The house appraised over what we paid, and we are so thankful to have had Chris and Rosmary as our real estate agents and advocates. It wasn't until I met the folks at Q Real Estate that I knew what a GOOD agent should be. Chris Ognek is the owner of Q Real Estate and was also our Realtor. He was amazing! His knowledge of real estate is phenomenal. Despite being in Fredericksburg, Chris was happy to serve our needs as we searched for condos in Arlington County. We only went out a few times with Chris on our condo hunt but a few times was all that was needed because he didn't waste our time when it came to viewing properties. Chris has his Master in Business Administration in Real Estate. He excelled in advising us, his clients, how our real estate purchase related to our overall financial goals and circumstances. Chris helped create wealth through real estate planning. What I mean by this is instead of just saying "wow! check out these great new windows!" he really broke it down to the cost benefit analysis. Don't get me wrong, he offered up his opinion but only when it was asked and gave a solid, honest answer. During the house hunts, it was amazing to see Chris' perspective on properties! He could find flaws in homes not immediately visible. There were no pressure sales to get us to buy a home we did not want. Chris really ensured we got the best deal for our dollar. He was even prompt in arranging the home inspection! On top of that Chris is a great guy. Very professional, yet beyond personable and approachable. He could answer every question! Working with Q Real Estate also saved us sooo much money when we sold our old place. They provided FULL and COMPLETE real estate services to sell our home for a low set fee, not a high commission. For example on a $300,000 home, traditional 6% commission would be $18,000 and their low set fee is $4,950 for a potential savings of $13,050. With the money we saved, we bought a lot of new appliances, to include a 60" TV! :-) And as for our new place, Chris and his team were EXPERTS at advising us on great renovations to maximize the future buying opportunity and to create wealth through out real estate investment. My friends continue to tell me horror stories about their Realtor. I cannot stress enough how important it is to have a QUALITY and trust worthy Realtor. Someone to help you through every process, from start to finish. Q Real Estate is definitely where you can find these qualities. And if that's not enough, you even get a great goodie bag when you close your purchase, hehe! Trust me, this place is the way to go when it comes to quality real estate investing! AMAZING COMPANY!!

Chris and his team gave my wife and I an incredible home buying experience. Moving across the country with two small kids is always stressful but Chris really took the stress out of the home purchase aspect of it. We flew out to view homes and he had a very organized itinerary of houses to view upon our arrival. I was impressed with how methodical and businesslike his approach was when it came to getting us to view as many houses as we could in just a few days. He had a good justification for the list price, and he correctly predicted that it would attract several offers and we could negotiate up from there. Chris help us reach a life goal. We have always wanted to own some land and thanks to Chris and his team, we closed in May 2020 on our first single-family home together with over 5 acres of land. Chris and his team helped us set a price for our former home that would get it sold quickly and determine the value for the home we wanted to purchase. We were able to handle most of it online, and he took care of all the frustrating details of calls, verifications, paperwork (which one realtor had asked me to take care of for her) and we only had to walk in the office and sign off on the papers at the end. Bought a single home at Fredericksburg. Chirs was the BEST I've ever used for buying and selling process. We have had the dubious pleasure of moving many times, and selling many homes. As a result of the many sales, we have discovered the right realtor can make all the difference for a stress-free experience, and Chris is one of the best. His marketing skills allowed us to sell our home in 11 days, while there were many homes for sale in our neighborhood much longer than ours. He kept us informed and managed the entire process while we relocated out of town. And when the buyer's financing fell through, he had our house back on the market and under contract again - for the exact same deal, in less than 10 days. His efforts really comforted us in what could have been a very stressful and unpleasant experience. If you want your house to sell quickly, and for what it's worth, I cannot recommend Chris and his team enough!

We recently bought our second home with Chris Ognek . Professional, patient and responsive. He walked us through the process, step by step, the whole way. Everything you could want in a realtor. I highly recommend him and having used him twice isn't that the best recommendation?

First off, Chris/Q Real Estate was an answer to our prayers! He really showed his value from the start when he thoroughly researched the value of our house - much higher than Loan Depot's appraisers. This is how we knew that our God, Jehovah, approved of Chris. Then we really started to see Chris' skills in this business - his recommendations in staging the house, and his high-tech camera, really got the interest in our home rolling. What was against us was the market of 2017 in Fredericksburg. Throughout even the flattened period of interest Chris checked up on us, and performed market analysis. Once we relisted in January, after taking a break at the end of Fall 2017, we got a relatively low offer. Then we started to see Jehovah's hand on Chris even more so. Chris was able to bring their offer up much closer to our asking price, and convinced the buyer's agent to recommend they address any issues in the house themselves - even about 90% of the issues that were identified by the home inspector. Towards the end of the sales transaction things got really ugly with the buyer party - having to do with a separate bill of sale on furniture they were interested in us conveying. Chris was on vacation, to boot! But he was able to handle the matter outside of cell service range, communicating consistently though emails, and get us through closing! We are very grateful to have had Q Real Estate as our listing agent, as well as Craig Adams, his "right hand", who also came through while Chris was on his vacation. If Chris and Q Real Estate were in the Charlottesville, VA area, no doubt he would have been my buyer agent.

There was never a question that could not be answered, if he didn't know for sure someone in his office did. With Chris you will always feel as though you are his one and only client. He is straight forward to the point, not pushy but always available to answer any and all questions. Yes this is his profession, but he wil always make sure situation is right for you rather than yes this is what you want (so he makes $). Chris along with his staff are available day and night, not your typical 9-5 leave a message, contact you during business hour's! I tried not to infringe on that, but knowing the option is there Was very comforting. After working with four other agents I met Chris Ognek with Q Reality and he has been all around the best realtor to work with. I had spent almost a year looking for a home but with him it took less than a week to find what I wanted. Due to some life changing events shortly after I decided to rent the home out and again Chris was there to help and his team at Q Reality managed the property. I had (still do) full faith and confidence in Chris and his team through any process. Naturally, when I decided to finally sale I choose to do so with Q Reality. The relationship and trust I have built with this team is unmeasurable and it would only be successful with them helping me along the way. Chris is both diligent and attentive to every need or question I have brought to him throughout the years and for that I'm more than appreciative. In the future I hope to work with him again and recommend his company to anyone looking to buy or sale. Chris Ognek is the best real estate agent there is. He helped my family find the perfect home after a very long search. As soon as we met Chris we knew our search was nearly over. We had originally planned to sell our home through Redfin, but they were unavailable to assist for our address at the time. They recommended a partner agent, Chris Ognek, and we decided to sell our home with him after researching reviews and meeting with him at our home. We expressed that our main focus was to sell our home when the timing was right in order to maximize the sale price and had no concrete moving timeline. Over the next few months we occasionally reached out to Chris and asked if he would recommend listing, and his answer was always along the lines of 'whenever you guys are ready, the market looks great. There's hardly any inventory at your price point'. Without any clear direction, we finally decided to list our home. Chris helped us stage the home and took listing photos that day, which he did very well. The listing looked and sounded great, and our hopes and expectations were high. After several showing and no offers, we finally received an offer much lower than we were expecting and looked to Chris for advice, but were unable to speak with him as he was out of the office in a location without cell service for several days. We decided to accept the offer but became extremely frustrated with Chris and his team. They were not very proactive about providing or completing the paperwork required to close, and we often had to ask him if he'd received something in order to have it sent our way. Overall, things ended up working out okay, but our expectations started much higher than what we ended up settling for. Smaller homes 1-2 streets away were selling for as much or more than our home had sold for. We felt as though we approached the home sale in the correct way, meeting with the realtor early and being as flexible as possible, and were disappointed with the outcome. Everything started off great, but things were greatly hindered by the fact that we could not leverage the experience of our realtor in making important decisions and we had to stay on top of things in terms of ensuring paperwork stayed on track. I understand that Chris did not want to advise us poorly and have us make the wrong decision, but we did not feel we got anywhere near the value of his commission in terms of advising and assistance for him or his team.

When my dad died last year, my sister and I took some time to go through his house and upgrade it a little. When we were ready to sell we interviewed 3 real estate agents in the Fredericksburg area and Chris was by far the very best. From the start he was professional and knowledgeable about the local real estate market. He made a recommendation about the asking price for the house and we took his advice. With a week or two we had an offer for full price. Chris sold our dad's house in record time for the top price. We asked a lot of questions about the buying/selling process and Chris patiently and fully answered all our questions. He managed the sale of the house, the inspection, the loan process, fulfilling the contingencies. We trusted his advice and he never failed us. He was just great and I highly recommend him and will definitely hire him again if I need a real estate agent.

Chris is a true professional! We were new to the area and he took time and showed us around and answered all of our questions.
